Spreading the love…
Desiree at Me, a writer of movie scripts, awarded me with the Pink Heart tag. Desiree and I both share in the goal of becoming paid screenwriters, and have given each other feedback on each others projects in the past.
The Pink Heart tag is something you share with people who have touched you in a positive way…so thank you to Desiree for thinking of me as someone you would share this with.
The heart does come with some phrases, which I picked out a couple favorites to share here:
“The mind is like a parachute; it only functions when it’s open.” You hear that, Prop 8 lovers?!?!?!
“When you lack the courage to start, then you’re already finished.” a.k.a. Don’t be a pansy.
“Be kinder than just necessary, because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of struggle.” This one I seriously believe in. Keep that “holier than thou” drama for your mama.
“If you want to make your dreams come true, do not oversleep.” Get off your arse and make it happen.
“The pursuit of happiness is a chase of a lifetime. It is never too late to become what you might have been.” Unless you want to be an Olympic gymnist.
“Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right…Forget the one’s who don’t. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.” If someone gives you a gift of white wine instead of red, it’s still all good.
“Friends are like balloons, once you let them go you might not get them back. Sometimes we get so busy with our lives and problems that we may not even notice that we’ve let them fly away. Sometimes we are caught up with who’s right or who’s wrong. Sometimes we just don’t realize what friendship means until it’s too late. I don’t want to let that happen so I’m gonna tie you to my heart so I never lose you.” Hold onto those good friends.
“Only thing you can’t recycle is TIME.” Let me get my butt off the blog and get back to work.
Thank you again, Desiree.
