Take the 14 day reading challenge…

Not that my plate isn’t full enough with all of the projects I’m working on right now, but I can’t not take advantage of Go Into The Story’s “14 Screenplays in 14 Days” challenge.
Each morning, for fourteen days straight, a screenplay is assigned for reading. In the afternoon, Go Into The Story’s Scott Myers will lead an online discussion about the script.
Participating in the actual act of writing is the best way to improve, but a lot can be learned by seeing how the masters do their thing. Reading from the best writers will allow you to compare your own work and see how it measures up to the best.
The challenge starts today. Script #1 is American Beauty, written by Alan Ball.
