Thankful Friday… 7/30

Friday +  Payday = Hell yes!

I woke up at 3:30 this morning in a sweat, close to hyperventilating over this house purchase.  After climbing out of bed, double checking the accounts and reconfirming we have the money to do this, I’ve since chilled out a bit.

This past month has been stressful and I’m excited for it to be over.  I’m not sleeping well, I don’t feel right.  My workout routines have suffered.   I’m working too many hours.  My hair needs to be cut and colored and my eyebrows need to be plucked.

I’m going to be spending some time this weekend reevaluating my routine and getting back into taking care of myself.

Despite the stress, it’s been a pretty incredible week:

+ made our appointment to sign the final house papers for next Tuesday

+ made strides towards the Super Ted rewrite every day

+ put some time into querying Super Ted every day

+ started outlining a new script

+ finished all the freelance articles I set out to complete this week

+ celebrated the marriage of my friend, Richard

+ spent an evening eating amazing fish tacos and watching Work of Art with very close friends

This weekend, I get to spend time with friends who will either be leaving permanently or taking a long vacation.  Plus, I’ll be heading out to the Renegade Craft Fair at Fort Mason in San Francisco, which I’ve been amped about since I had to miss it last year.
