Thankful Friday 6.29.12

This week…

+ Finally watched Brad Bird’s THE IRON GIANT. I’m not sure why I resisted because it ended up being one of the most enjoyable films I’ve seen in a while.
+ My wife and I visited the food trucks at Splash Pad Pod/Lake Merritt on Thursday. After pigging out, we skateboarded and walked around the lake. This has quickly become one of my favorite routines of ours.
+ I knocked out a number of freelance projects this week.
+ We bought an American Flag set to put up outside the house for the 4th. I love everything about our decision.
+ I actually consumed some fruits and vegetables this week.
+ I’m thankful for Nora Ephron and her contribution to film. Thank you for the inspiration Ms. Ephron.
+ This weekend I plan to somehow see TED, MAGIC MIKE, MOONRISE KINGDOM, SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD and SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED. Think I can do it?
