Tuesday Links 11/9

After taking a long weekend to celebrate the ten years I’ve been together with my wife, I’m back and ready to return to work.

I’ve been away from the computer, so I still need some time to catch up to the online world.  Anyway, here is this week’s extra small collection of Tuesday Links.  Hope you enjoy.

* Scott Myers at Go Into The Story continues his “7 Days of Screenplays” program, this week focusing on action flicks.  Every day, one script will be available to download and read, and then you can participate in the discussion with Scott and other readers as they analyze the script.

* If you’re in or near the Bay Area, you need to take a trip to the Oakland Museum of California to see the Pixar exhibit., which runs through January 9th.  It was one of the incredible experiences I had over the weekend… one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.

Tuesday Links 11/2

I’m not sure what kind of crack was in my coffee this morning, but I’ve been super anxious all day.  There are a million things going on in my head right now and it’s been difficult to concentrate.

As a result, today’s collection of Tuesday Links is a little smaller than usual.  Still, I hope you find something that stimulates or interests you.

* John August explains when and how many dashes are appropriate in specific situations.  I needed this in my life because I’m kind of a dash whore.

* Julie Gray has offered up a different type of writing contest, one in which challenges you to discuss who you are without boring everybody.

* Writer and filmmaker Sridhar M. Reddy discusses how important making a schedule and a commitment are to a writer’s success.

I’m going to try and kick this wave of nausea and actually get some work in.  Have a good one.
